Founded in 1425, UCLouvain is one of Belgium’s and Europe’s leading universities. It was here that Georges Lemaître formulated his Big Bang theory and Christian de Duve won the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1974. UCLouvain has seven locations in Belgium.
