Interns
How to do an internship at UCLouvain?
For whom?
To do an internship at UCLouvain, you have to be either:
- a student in a high school,
- a student in a higher education institution in a bachelor’s or master’s programme, or
- a person sent as part of a professional reintegration programme (Forem).*
* A PhD student, researcher, professor, administrator, etc., will be welcomed at UCLouvain under another status, including that of ‘visitor’.
How?
The first step to be taken by a prospective intern is to find an internship supervisor, who may be a member of academic, scientific, or administrative and technical staff.
The supervisor agrees to take on an intern and establishes an internship agreement that will be signed by UCLouvain, the intern’s institution of origin and the intern. The supervisor also establishes a risk analysis. With the agreement and risk analysis in hand, the intern enrols at the Enrolment Office (fee: €66).
