Working at UCLouvain

The University of Louvain welcomes 31882 students* in a wide range of fields, from bachelor’s to PhD level, and offers many continuing education programmes. It is a pioneer in the creation of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), and the first French-speaking university in Europe to offer online courses on the edX platform, thus contributing to the expansion of knowledge and the education of those who will act in the world of tomorrow.

Every year, in order to carry out its missions, the university hires hundreds of new academic, scientific, administrative and technical staff. It offers a wide range of jobs for teachers, researchers and support specialists.

Currently, 5,840 staff* contribute to and participate in these missions. They are spread over seven campuses (Louvain-la-Neuve, Woluwe  and Saint-Gilles in Brussels, Namur, Mons, Tournai, Charleroi) and three categories (academic, scientific, administrative and technical) encompassing diverse positions and multiple trades.

Working at UCLouvain means participating in a working community that is rich in diversity, where it is possible to pursue a rewarding career path and find opportunities for internal mobility and training to continually enhance your skills. It means being part of an interdisciplinary dynamic and bringing your talents to an organisation in constant motion.
